Mornings

I was born & raised in the Golden Horseshoe area of Ontario. I was always a “drama geek” in school acting in plays & musicals, and I thought that’s what I would do when I grew up. Unfortunately, reality set in when I found out acting paid squat. Needing to make a living, I turned to the next best thing…radio! There aren’t many jobs out there when I can be at home and wish I was still working…of course, that may just be me! No one ever accused me of being “normal”!!!

I’ll be looking forward to joining you with some Breakfast On the Beach.
So turn on, tune in & wake up with Light Hits for Ontario’s West Coast on 104.9 The Beach!

Born: General Hospital (no, my parents are NOT Luke & Laura) on Canada Day in St. Catharines, Ontario

Real ambition:  I hope to slip into Simon's seat when he leaves 'American Idol'. For 50 million bucks, I'll listen to every bad singer on the face of the earth with a smile on my face!

Last purchase: Most likely, something Elvis-related!

Favourite word/phrase/quote: “Don’t dive in before you know how deep it is”

First Job: Kitchen help at a bar & grill in St. Catharines

Before the Beach: I was in Saugeen Shores for a year at our sister station, 98 The Beach. Before that, I spent 4 years working nights in Owen Sound at our other sister station, Mix 106.

Indulgence: I’m only allowed one indulgence? When did that happen? I didn’t get that memo!

Dangerous: Me?  Dangerous???  Yeah, right!  Nah, my arms & legs stay inside the vehicle at all times!

Hidden talent: I am a karaoke nut…and I fool around with impersonations too!

Unverified claim to fame: Attempted to audition for “Canadian Idol”…note, the key word is attempted!

Pets: Unless you count the dust bunnies under my bed…ummm, none!

Favourite song/artist/group: I’m a fan of anything that sounds good. If it sounds bad, the odds are good that I don’t play it!

If I could change the world: I would put an end to all allergies, then I could have some pets that wouldn’t make me sneeze!

Your perfect day: Any day that I can hop in the car, put on some good driving music & just go someplace!
