Howard capped a perfect week of curling to earn a berth in the Canadian Men's Curling Championship in Halifax next month.

The win also gives Howard 5 consecutive Ontario curling championships, breaking a tie he held with his brother Russ.

 It also ties Howard with Paul Savage with five championships and puts him one behind Ed Wernich.
