Woman Faces Charges in Fatal Fire

Middlesex OPP have laid charges in connection with a fatal fire in Southwest Middlesex late last month.

Police say a woman surrendered to police on Friday and is now charged with second-degree murder in the death of a Glencoe area man.

Police and three area volunteer fire departments responded to a fully engulfed house fire on January 29th and later found a victim inside.

He's been identified as 52-year-old George Hands.

Fifty-one-year-old Sandra Lynn Hands is charged and remains in custody.

Police and the Fire Marshal continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
